Alternative Common Names

Shrub or small tree to 3 m high, sparsely hairy with appressed hairs except for inner floral parts.

Leaves - alternating up the stems, composed of 1-6 pairs leaflets, each 0.7-2cm long, 2-6mm wide, linear to flat, the edges turned down, sparsely hairy, with blunt tips.

Flowers - yellow, with 5 petals, in clusters of 6-10 flowers, the stalks rising from the bases of the leaves.

Pods - flat, 3–5 cm long, 10–12 mm wide, straight or slightly curved.

Flowering winter-spring.

Habitat

Grows in a wide range of habitats in inland plains.
