Alternative Common Names

Shrub 1-3 metres high. Very young shoots with a few silky hairs, otherwise hairless and smooth.

Leaves – 3-10cm long needle shaped. Often divided into 2-4 slender segments.

Flowers – clusters of purple or red flowers.

Flowering – winter to spring.

Habitat

Confined to hilly sites north of Yetman; rare, more widespread in central Qld.
