Bottletree, Large Leaved Bottletree, Broad-leafed Bottle Tree

A small to medium-sized deciduous tree that may reach 15 metres in height with a somewhat bottle shaped trunk. Not as strongly shaped as its relatives.

Leaves - are glossy green 20 cm across, lobed in three, five or seven points with 4.5-12 cm long stalks.

Flowers - white to cream, velvety, becoming rusty when dry, borne in short racemes.

Flowering usually when leafless.
